My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
Played competitive racquetball for over 25 yrs starting at 8 yrs old. Got away from that when my surgically repaired knee couldn't take the constant pounding and recovery took a week or two after a 3 day tournament.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
CrossFit has been the "drug" that I use to fulfill my need to compete and push my body without the hard pounding on my joints. Strength has improved immensely. Running distances no longer hurts my knee since I've picked up some proper technique. The best thing that has ever happened to me...only wish I had found CF earlier.
