The Games season is my favorite time of year! It is a chance to push ourselves beyond the normal means of what we physically and mentally do in the gym. This creates fear in us. Fear to go to that threshold. I look forward to charging headstrong into the fear of fatigue and putting my best foot forward in the Games season. We do not sign up for a 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathon, or marathon race because we think we will win it. We do it out of the spirit of running. The Open is no different. Let's celebrate the spirit of CrossFit by participating. Celebrate the physical results, the adaptation that happens between the ears, the friendships and camaraderie that is built by being CrossFitters! I encourage everyone to do the Open, and give it everything you've got!
