ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

After completing a Whole 30 Challenge in 2012, I've learned how different foods affect my body and performance. I try to stick within a framework I know works for me, which is mostly Paleo, but occasionally includes things like rice and ice cream. Because, let's be honest, everyone needs a little ice cream sometimes.

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

I swam competitively for 13 years, including four years at a D1 university. I was the United States Masters Swimming Age 25-29 Champion in the 50 yard breaststroke in 2012. I'm also a passionate outdoor adventure addict, and when I'm not a CrossFit Love, I'm likely hiking, biking, backpacking, skiing, or trying a new outdoor sport. (Whitewater kayaking is on my list for this summer!)
