I'm a DC born and raised girl, moved to Southern California roughly 3 years ago. Always have been athletic, so Crossfit is just another thing I can say i tried!
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat lots of fruit and I try to cook alot of my own meals. I eat very frequently as I work out just about everyday.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I just started back doing crossfit, I run at lunch and I am also a dancer. I usually Crossfit only 3 times a week while the other activities (including yoga) are the other days. I sometimes have a rest day.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I was a gymnast, swimmer and runner in high school and college. I am former Army National Guard, and have been dancing (jazz, modern, hip hop) for over 10 years.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have attended one or more specialty courses
Tried it at a gym by myself could NOT get anyone to come with me. it was awkward at first, but I am enjoying my training.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I've always been hyper so I am always doing something :)
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Started at a gym by my home, but went to another because their schedules are more frequent and flexible.
