5-time US National Kayak Team member during the past 8 years. High school nordic ski racing. Marathon canoe racing.
My Experience With CrossFit
My kayak career was rife with nagging shoulder and back injuries; I started CrossFit in 2010 as an alternative strength and conditioning program leading up to the 2012 Olympic Trials. It worked great. . . so great, in fact, that the kayak is now gathering dust while I try to get to Regionals. Oops.
My Work/Rest Schedule
Working out is fun, so I usually do it multiple times a day.
