ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

Meat and Vegetables all day everyday! Nuts, avacados, extra meat for snacks. No grain, no sugar, no fake protein. All natural, the only thing I eat that's not paleo is milk and potatoes.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I write my own programming

I record my workouts

Doug Chapman does all my programming Waxman and Ashley at Waxman's gym help me with all my Olympic Lifts. I try to keep my training as "random" as possible to keep me on my toes and feel like I can "throw down" any place any time. Working out sometimes in the morning, afternoon or late at night, hungry, full of food, tired or full of energy and hype. This way there's no "ideal time" for training, and whether I first wake up or just get done coaching, at the drop of a hat it's GAME TIME!

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

I regularly play recreational sports

All through high school I played 3 sports, all year around. Volleyball, Swimming, and Track & Field. In college I ended up narrowing it down to Track & Field getting a scholarship to run 400 hurdles, 200, 4x400m relay, 800m and triple jump for Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction Colorado.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have attended one or more specialty courses

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I train other people

Teach tons of classes at CrossFit Horsepower, Vault CrossFit, and CrossFit & Pink Iron Endurance, running, track workouts Mixed CrossFit Boot-camp cardio type classes with CrossFit like movements Fundamentals, all beginner and on-ramp classes Gymnastics Fundamentals Women's Olympic Lifting Training for private clients at the gym, park, beach, track, everywhere!

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

2-4 years

Started September 2010 at CrossFit RED in Grand Junction CO
