Living and loving life to the fullest; I work full time as a Psychologist in private practice in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. With a husband in the military and three almost adult children life is a juggle, but it means I treasure the time I get to train & put in 100% when I do. I find a clean diet and adequate sleep essential to my training. Challenges of injury, competing work demands and husband being recently posted overseas are all just obstacles that ultimately are opportunities to become stronger.

I weigh and measure my food
I've been 'mainly' paleo for about 5 years. (Have some dairy); and this year introduced zone. Only drink alcohol in off season (2nd half of the year) Fairly strict in comp season, not so strict off season.

Went to a mainstream gym for about 15 years before Crossfit - Les Mills style aerobics.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

Went on a boot camp with Commando Steve in May 2010, where I was introduced to Crossfit. Loved it! Joined an affiliate in June 2010. Goal was to make Regionals as an individual in 2011, the year I turned 40! Did that. Since then I I have competed twice at regionals in a team. LOVE COMPETING!
