My life has been graced with a wonderful wife, Kim of 25 yrs, two great boys CJ, and Luke. I have been a FF/medic for the city of Akron for 21 yrs this year. I am ever thankful to God for my health, and family, and am reminded daily that not everyone gets to experience the gift of independant mobility. I have many people who support my athletic endeavors and could not do this without them. Romans 5:3 We rejoice in our suffering because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance; character, and character, hope.


How I Eat

I probably eat too many peanut butter sandwiches!! I'm not sure what constitutes a "cheat meal" but I'm pretty sure I eat at least 3 a week.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

How do I classify my training?..... I mostly do constantlly varied workouts at high intensity, mixed with multiple skills and lifts. I frequently talk about my workouts with coaches/trainers and throw in, kinda willy-nilly any advice they may have. I hate to record my workouts due to the fact that I may never do them that well again!

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

Mostly participated in endurance sports prior to CF. To include qualifying and running the '06 Boston Marathon. Was fortunate enough to compete at the 2014 CF Games.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
