Stay at home mom of four kids. I didn't start crossfit until baby no. 4 was born in Nov 2010 at Crossfit Moxie in San Jose. I was overweight and bored with my typical gym routine. I wanted to find something fun to do this time in order to get the baby weight off. I am in love with crossfit and it's been so much fun this time getting the weight off and becoming stronger and more fit than I've ever been in my life. My motto these days is: Eat clean, train hard and live life! Can't wait to participate in this year's open. Should be a ton of fun.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
High school soccer and field hockey. Took many years off and started back up in my early 30's on a few indoor and outdoor co-ed rec soccer teams.

My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
Usually once per day with 1-2 days per week adding in a strength or endurance wod. I try to rest 1-2 days per week from crossfit, but sometimes I'll hike or work on gymnastics moves with my kids.
