I am the proud father of three beautiful kids--Ursula (5), Skye Rosa (3), and Ryder (2). When people ask "Why move to Denmark?" then the answer is my beautiful wife, Lea. I am a relative newcomer to CrossFit (Oct 2013). I always wanted to try it, but couldn't fit it into my schedule as a Personal Trainer at a traditional gym. I was a competitive athlete as a kid, and set a national record in the Marine Youth Physical Fitness Contest (push ups, sit ups, pull ups, broad jump, sprint) when i was 17. That record stood for 27 years. Funniliy enough, when someone broke that record, i started dreaming about competing in CrossFit. My intention is to be the best in the world in my age group when i'm 50. I am surrounded by the best coaches and teammates in the world at Butcher's Gararge Masters in Copenhagen. I love it!
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I am a proud vegan CrossFitter. Plant Power!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I write my own programming
I basically do a Westside Conjugate/CrossFit hybrid. I believe in working to one rep maxes on the power lifts and supplement with accessory strength and CrossFit skills exercises. I lift heavy three times a week and on other days do cardio and mobility. The highlight of my week is Butcher's Masters 2-hour class on Sundays.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I was the 1984 Marine Youth Physical Fitness National Champion. I set a national record that held for 27 years.
