How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat as clean as possible sticking to a high (good) fat diet. I eat ALOT

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I record my workouts

I am fortunate to have an amazing coach as a boyfriend. He programs for the gym and for our competitors. I usually end up spending 2 to 3 hours a day between strength, a metcon, gymnastics, and mobility.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

I was a D1 swimmer for Florida Atlantic. I swam the 200fly, 500and 200 free.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have attended one or more specialty courses

I train other people

Crossfit is a huge part of my life. It's shown me family, friends, and is the hardest thing I've ever done. I'm challenged physically and mentally everyday. When I first started cf it was with my boyfriend Lance, and we didn't mostly on our own. We finally joined crucible in 2011 and it was the best decision Of our lives. I've never seen either of us this happy or this dedicated to our workouts, especially to our weaknesses. We joke about me crying about heavy back squats...which heavy then is now literally a warmup set... We now own and manage Crucible and can't imagine our life with our crucible family! I've since had the priviledge of competing in Regionals with the Southeast ladies in 2012 and 2013. I've worked on weakness but more importantly the mental game going into 2014 and can't wait to see all the girls this year in my stomping grounds at the Jax Arena!

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week

I typically rest fewer than 4 days per month

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

4+ years
