How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I do not eat refined packaged foods or white starches.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
I train 4 days a week and usually attend a specialized class on Saturdays. I supplement the daily WOD's with accessory work in areas I am weak in. Twice a week I run or row sprints to help build endurance.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I led a very sedentary lifestyle until I turned 55 and joined a traditional gym.
My Experience With CrossFit
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I began experimenting with CrossFit at a globo gym with my daughter, Kimberly Malz. When she opened her own affiliate in January 2009, I was one of her first members...and I haven't looked back! I participated in the 2011 and 2012 Open ~ Masters Women, 60+ and earned the chance to compete at the Reebok CrossFit Games. I finished 5th in 2011 and 15th in 2012. This was an experience I will never forget...on so many levels.

I usually only do 1 workout a day
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
