How I Eat
My downfall! I try to eat healthy but I am completely obsessed with food, with no prejudices. I limit portion sizes, eat a lot through the day, and try to limit my "snacks" to the weekends at least.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I workout with a great group of people in the morning (CFPB Morning Comp Class [AKA The Crazies]). I am so proud to be a part CrossFit Pandora's Box; an awesome gym with amazing coaches and inspiring athletes.
My Athletic Background
Prior to CF I was a lifter and runner (15+ years). CF transformed my whole fitness outlook.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
It took the effort of several friends to convince me to crossover into the CF world and I am forever grateful.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I try to balance family & fitness so the two do not interfer & cause unbalance, so I CF Monday - Friday and take the weekends off. However, my husband & I are passionate about our mountains so my rests days could consist of hiking a 14'er or wondering through a forrest. Additionally, I have not completely let go of my running; I get my distance runs (6-8 miles) in on Saturday morning in the summer (too dang cold in Colorado in the Winter).
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
