I just started Crossfit 7 months ago, after having spent my entire adult life thus far with no consistent exercise. I tried many different things, gym memberships that I never used, bicycling, running, etc, but nothing held my interest the way Crossfit does. I am at the beginning of this journey and know that I have a long way to go, and I feel better than ever.
How I Eat
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
I am probably 60-70% Paleo at the time of registration. I go through periods of strict Paleo and started out 4-5 months ago on a 30 day strict plan. Currently, cheats seem to be creeping back in...probably time to get back to strict!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
I played youth or high school level sports
I was a swimmer in high school.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have attended one or more specialty courses
I joined an Oly class at my affiliate for a couple of months to get my form down.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I work out Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, and Sat. My rest days are Thursday and Sunday.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I graduated Foundations about 7 months ago (6/1/2013).
