My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I regularly play recreational sports

I grew up playing Soccer competitively; then played club soccer in college. I ending up tearing my ACL and looking for something different to help with rehab and found a kettlebell class which led me to CrossFit. I started playing tennis regularly about a year ago.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

A barbell, some dumbbells, soccer ball filled with sand, and a playground was my gym for about a year.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

I have been fighting injuries since last year. I hope to give everything I can to help my team make it to regionals. Then it's double knee surgery!

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

4+ years

religiously since 2010.01.19, first WOD in fall of 2009.
