Yoga and long distance running enthusiast turned religious Crossfitter. I started doing Crossfit a year and a half ago. I train 6days a week. I fell in love with the sport after my first class! I am a perfectionist and one thing that I've learned from Crossfit is that I need to be more aware of my progress as an athlete, take the time to work on skills that are weak right now and break them down into smaller components.


How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I am about 90% paleo, still love a lil peanut butter now and then it's my only cheat.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I record my workouts

I participate in the Crossfit classes 6days a week at VO2 Max in my home town of Grande Prairie Alberta. I also run between 5 and 10km 4days a week. Practice yoga when I can and swimming.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

Growing up I was in a variety of sports started out in soccer when I was 6 and moved on to basketball in grade 8-12, I still play ladies league basketball once a week during the winter. I ran cross country under ACAC for 3 seasons. I was on the 2008 Alberta summer games team for track and field.

My Experience With CrossFit

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I started participating in Crossfit at the end of this past summer I fell in love after my first class. It had changed my life in that I'm more confident in myself by just realizing how strong I really am. There had been somewhat rough patches in my life and moments where I lost the person I wanted to be but Crossfit brought me back to exactly where I should be. It has taught me to let go of my ego and just work to the best of my abilities and you never stop learning.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

I will participate in the Crossfit class 6 days a week then, every other day I will go for a long run with my puppy charlie just to clear my head and relax my mind. I usually take Sundays off I'm a full time college student so sleep doesn't come by as much as I would like but I do average between 6-8hrs of sleep a night.
