CrossFit is my sport! I Love my CrossFit WestCo Family with all my heart. The support of all the Crossfits in Grand Junction area is phenomenal. I started crossfitting in June of 2010. I have 4 grown children, three incredible grand children, 3 great brothers, and the best parents. I am a middle school teacher at Orchard Mesa Middle School. It is an honor and a privileged to be part of CrossFit.
How I Eat
I have been eating Paleo/Zone the last 24 months. I use Advocare Products. I am an Advisor in their company and a non-paid endorser. I love their products. Give me a shout if you want to know more.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I incorporate CrossFit.com workouts
I write my own programming
I record my workouts
My Crossfit Games Coach is Kevin Miller. My Coaches at Crossfit Westco are David Weaver, Kristen Smith, and Danen Fiedly. Samuel Matthews from CrossFit Venture and Cody Flemming from CrossFit Junction have given me tons of input to pursue my dreams. Coach Jake Knighton, Praxis East Olympic Lifting Club, is my OLY coach. I appreciate ALL their help in preparing me for the 2013 Games. I wouldn't be able to do it without their expertise and input. They are the best. My dad says,"it takes a village to raise a child," well - I firmly believe that it takes a village to raise a CrossFit athlete! Thank you to everyone! The support from my CrossFit community in the Grand Junction are brings me much joy! Thank you!
