ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

My eating is 90% paleo and I mostly eat organic and free range. I am currently doing the Whole Life Challenge so I'm eating really, really well. I track my caloric intake because I love food too much to eat whatever I want. I love red wine. I love coffee. I love occasional off the hook cheat meals. Anything goes.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I write my own programming

I record my workouts

I incorporate hiking, rock climbing, stand up paddle surfing, slacklining and IndoBoarding into my weekly workout program for fun and variety. I do 3-5 CrossFit workouts each week at CrossFit Malibu.

My Athletic Background

I regularly play recreational sports

I have always done individual sports - skateboarding, competitive bodybuilding, competitive powerlifting, skiing, rock climbing, skydiving, unicycling, etc. CrossFit is the first "group type" workout I've done.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

I do a daily workout with yoga, crunches, burpees and pushups. But it only lasts about 20 minutes. I also do CrossFit workouts in addition to that 3-5 times a week. I also surf, climb, paddle, IndoBoard or slackline a few days each week.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

6-12 months
