I began doing crossfit in September of 2012... and I have found myself hooked. I have a background in rock climbing and a passion for working out/running. I have never felt so strong and empowered, or pushed in my life. I love it!
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I mainly eat paleo, but I also feel that food is a joy and life is too short to not enjoy something non-paleo once and a while. :)
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
My Athletic Background
I have been a rock climber since I was 11, and before crossfit went very regularly, in combination with running about 2-3 times a week with a weight component in the mix.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I actually 'started' crossfit about 4 years ago, trying in on my own at my gym, through watching videos... I REALLY wanted to join, but couldn't afford it. So I went on the crossfit main site and would attempt the workouts... but really didn't have any idea how to do most of the movements. So I eventually quit and did my own thing... I was psyched to start with central and learn the movements, it's amazing!
