How I Eat
I eat strict Paleo
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I generally stick to Whole 30 guidelines.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
In addition to crossfit, I enjoy running, cycling, and hiking. I used to take yoga classes, but the "yoginess" of it started to bother me, the idea that "everyone is good enough as they are at the present moment..." I prefer the mentality of crossfit that says "let's see how great you can become, and let's start where you are in the present moment and build from there."
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
Volleyball 7th-8th grade, and Indoor & Outdoor Track 7th-9th grades. My track events centered around hurdles and middle distance running, 400, 800, 1600m. I kept running after I left track as a way to relieve stress.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
Started at Crossfit Central in July, 2012, expanded to include strength work at Travis County Strength, (not a crossfit affiliate) until leaving Austin in 2014. I now train at Crossfit Escondido in Southern California.
