Bio

Weak and very asthmatic growing up, yet a decent athlete. Played and loved high school football. Stayed in decent shape in adulthood with running and globo gym type weight lifting. Found crossfit late 2006. Did for several years at Bally's, with people staring at us. At the time, there was one crossfit gym in Houston area, about an hour away. Was going to open up a gym, but found Atomic Crossfit close by. Great community and great coaching staff. CrossFit has greatly enriched my life,.. not just total fitness but mental fitness and toughness too. Ultimately, it's made me a better person in all aspects of my life, and continues to foster growth in all areas.

How I Eat

I weigh and measure my food

I eat strict Paleo

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

My eatting fluctuates. If the scale battery goes out, it may be months before I replace it. Generally I used to eat Paleo/Zone with some fats replacing carb blocks. Lately, trying Atkins/Ketogenic.

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

Pretty consistent since 2006, continuous progress. My enthusiasm and love for it has only grown too. Overall makes me a better and better person. This last year and a half I've backed off a little, stopped taking it as serious as in the past. Learned to scale some and listen to my body more, injuries decreasing and overall happiness increasing... fitness still progressing even with PRs fluctuating.
