I've been crossfitting on&off since 2006. Did my Level 1 cert Sept 2006 at HQ (that was so cool) as well as Olifting with Burgner (got to stay at his house for a couple days - that was pretty wicked too!!!!). I love crossfit! It has impacted my life and who I am on every level: my friends, priorities, health, body, confidence, ability to focus on a task till its done, testing my beliefs about what I am able to do, and the people in my life. I'm so grateful for Crossfit, the friendship and community it culviates - its so much fun!
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
80% paleo in the sense I drink cream in my coffee, love ice cream on off days, and whip cream with berries for dessert!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
Grew up skiing, snowboarding, wake boarding, dancing, did a little track & field, hated PE, was always active and eventually when I got a little older got into BJJ.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have attended one or more specialty courses
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
And try to get multiples in when I'm healthy or getting ready for competition.
