ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I am gluten free (for the most part) and have just recently started going dairy free. Going gluten free changed my life and while I cheat from time to time, I do my best not to.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I workout mostly at home, work, or a traditional gym

I record my workouts

I started in a GloboGym in September of 1996 and old habits die hard. I still have a chest day, an arm day, and a leg day that I do every week along with my CrossFit workouts.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I was not really athletic in high school and only started working out in my junior year of college.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I wouldn't say that CrossFit changed my life per se, but I definitely enjoy the competitive nature of it and how it encourages me to push myself.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I typically rest fewer than 4 days per month

If I don't get some sort of workout in most days of the week, it puts me in a bad mood. Period.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

2-4 years

I started in March 2009 but took 2 years off from July 2010 through July 2012, when I picked it up again.
