How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat whatever is convenient
I'm veggie but will eat eggs and fish. Paleo is difficult, no one can help us vegetarians eat Paleo! I limit grains/dairy but frequently eat peanut butter and beans!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
I ski and play sports whenever possible. My life is busy and so I try to maintain an active lifestyle.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I regularly play recreational sports
I played basketball, volleyball, track in high school. Basketball in college. Sand volleyball now, trying not to pick up golf until I get more gray hairs.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
maybe not life changing but it has released my pent up boredom with my life and job. I was able to move from a borderline diabetic to normal ( with my veggie diet and cross fit) and I changed my body in a way that I have not ever seen, even when working out in college. My husband felt inadequate, so he had to loose 30 lbs to keep up with me! I love that!
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
If skiing black diamonds after a Crossfit workout and playing volleyball after a Crossfit workout counts, then I work out multiple times a week. I try to stay on the Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday Saturday workout schedule. My job sometimes interferes with this, so I try to make up another day if it does.
