How I Eat

I eat strict Paleo

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

Meat, eggs, veggies, sweet potatoes, some fruit, some nuts....and occasionally some dark chocolate almonds find there way in! :)

How I Train

I have a coach who determines my programming

I incorporate workouts

I write my own programming

I record my workouts

CJ Martin of Invictus programmed for me last year and this year we are making it a collaborative effort. He is the best of the best when it comes to numbers and making workouts to help you better yourself as an athlete. I love to have structure from him, but have learned that sometimes I need to just get out and just do what feels good that day and go back to my roots (usually in the form of mountain biking, skiing, running, paddle boarding, hiking or just playing).

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

I regularly play recreational sports

Youth Sports - Soccer, softball, basketball, track & field, volleyball, downhill skiing, HS Sports - Soccer, softball College Sports - Soccer and Track & Field Recreational - Mountain bike, waterski, downhill ski, soccer

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I train other people

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week

I strictly schedule my rest days

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

2-4 years

I did a CrossFit competition at Level 10 CrossFit in Oroville, CA the summer of 2010 but didn't officially start CrossFit training until late December/early January of 2011.
