ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I weigh and measure my food

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

My wife is a saint and she measures out 15 blocks paleo/zone for me most days. I add to that with a breakfast of meat and Lara bar(s). At night I eat another protein meal with too many blocks of fat.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I incorporate CrossFit.com workouts

I write my own programming

I record my workouts

I do the main site WOD(s) if I travel on the weekend and train with the crew teaching. During the week I try to get 2-3 workouts in depending on what I've programmed for the gym, typically a good heavy day and whichever workout(s) look the worst so that gym morale stays high.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

I played soccer in my youth and moved onto and placekicking in high school and college. I also rowed for 1 year in college. After that I competed in Powerlifting, Strongman and Highland Games for 5 years before beginning CrossFit.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have attended one or more specialty courses

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I train other people

We started doing the workouts, got certified in '08 competed in the Games that same year and never looked back. This has revitalized my life, and my families' future!
