Was introduced to CrossFit in November of 2008 and never looked back. It is a lifestyle for me and my family now and enjoy every minute of it.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
My diet is getting better, but not yet there.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I workout mostly at home, work, or a traditional gym
I write my own programming
I workout at the Affiliate I coach in, and also have a full garage gym at home, and have some equipment at the firestation I work in. Which ever is the most convienient on that day is where I WOD. I change up my workouts doing some from mainsite and programming some on my own.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
Played soccer and tennis in highschool. Ran track, swam, and softball club teams growing up and in college.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I train other people
I was introduced to it in a globo gym with no coach, just watching demos from the main site. After over 2 years I got my level one, joined an affiliate, and began coaching.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
Some days I run and workout, others I'll do 2 or 3 WOD's. I will rest on sundays and days that the kids schedule do not allow me to workout. I dont have a specific schedule, I let my body do the talking.
