ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat whatever is convenient

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

I tend to eat pretty clean. But I'm not shy about eating whatever is convenient. No dairy, rice, oatmeal. Black beans, sweet potatoes are my carb of choice. Ground turkey and Bison are the majority of my protein. I'm not a body builder so I don't do a lot of protein shakes. AMRAP Nutrition bars are at the top though!

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I write my own programming

The mornings usually consist of my WOD. I'll go back for strength 4hrs later. I incorporate swimming 2 days a week, Olympic lifting 1 day a week, and I even like to throw in some Muay Thai training, just to mix things up a bit.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

Younger days (8yrs old - 14) were Football, Baseball. As I got older ( 19yrs old ) I started to compete in Muay Thai. I did that for 5 years, and made the amazing transition over to Crossfit.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

Started Crossfit 0ctober 20th, 2012. Haven't looked back since!

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

Less than 6 months
