I joined Mountaineer Crossfit a little over a year ago at age 42. I weighed about 185 and never had done any Olympic lifts in my life. After i got through the basics classes, i was ready...or i thought i was. I had to start with a PVC bar and could not get over how fast and strong everyone was around me. Fast foward a year and i am about 165 and feel like i am in the best shape since i got out of the USMC in 1992. The folks at Mountaineer Crossfit have been instrumental in my continuing development...and very patient! I am very fortunate to be surrounded by a great group of people.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
Staying strict to the Paleo diet is very difficult for me. I do however feel better when i can eat this way consistently.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
We just got Wodify at Mountaineer crossfit. This make it so much easier to record the workouts.
