I played youth or high school level sports

I regularly play recreational sports

I played football, basketball and track in junior high and high school. I played recreationally in college. I play flag football, volleyball, softball, and dodgeball in the local sports leagues now.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

CrossFit has completely changed the way I look at working out. Every workout used to be a grind before I started. I would dread going to the gym and doing the same stale workout (I was doing Stronglifts 5x5, but there was really no variety). After starting CrossFit, I've seen my endurance levels rise, and I'm starting to throw some serious weight around. I'm really proud of how far I've come in the last 9 months.

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

6-12 months

Since starting CrossFit in June of 2012 I've seen massive improvements in my endurance, strength, flexibility and mobility. I'm really looking forward to seeing how much progress I'll have made when the Open rolls around again in 2014!
