CrossFit is my favorite way to exercise and it keeps me happy. My life is my family, learning, experiencing, adventuring and to be the healthiest version of me, so that I can be fully present and happy on this wild and crazy ride called life. What I love about CrossFit: CrossFit is for everyone (despite what the haters can say, there is a version of CrossFit specific for us all), it is never boring, it brings people together, the community is supportive, positive and embracing, and last, CrossFit, if you choose, can push you to a place that never hurt-so-good...
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
My 'how I eat philosophy' is to not feel like foods are forbidden, but rather to cut them out because they’re not good for me. I eat mostly real whole foods that would be considered Paleo. I love to cook, ferment, bake, forage, preserve, make messes in the kitchen and feed people!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I love my CrossFit affiliate. It is my favorite way to get exercise next to spending time in the great outdoors. I go as often as I can, which is typically 3-4 times a week.
My Athletic Background
I played college sports
Volleyball and Basketball pretty much sum up my childhood and young adult life.
