I am a grandfather and physicist who loves CrossFit for fitness, wellness, and fun! I compete to measure my fitness progress year to year and set new goals for the coming year from what I learn. It's always fun and usually there's a PR or two in the Open. I also compete, along with my wife, to show people that even 60+ year olds can do this thing and set an example for young people to aspire to when they reach our age.
