How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
Just completed the 30-day Paleo Challenge with only minor cheating. Will maintain paleo 80%+ but allow the occasional cheat meal and if you think I'll give up beers and fine wine you're deluded.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
Train at CF Basel three times a week, doing a mixture of regular WODs, CF Strongman and Oly Lifting classes. Have been known to run around the park near my house carrying sandbags and kettlebells, but only when desperate and only when warm. Play squash badly most weeks in the pretence of doing a mainstream sport and keep my old legs moving.
My Athletic Background
I regularly play recreational sports
Used to be a reasonable climber and still play around on boulders and big mountains. It's been over 30 years since I won an egg and spoon race at school but the taste of victory still lingers.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
Started on my own, then a few mates joined me. Built up our own box from nothing, by begging, stealing and borrowing kit from the military, scrap yards and abusing the APO system (yes, they will deliver 24 kg kettlebells to the Middle East).
