I am co-owner of CrossFit 6250' in Lake Tahoe, Ca. I have been coaching CrossFit for nearly six years and have been competing for five years. I won the CrossFit Games (55-59) in 2012 at age 58, but have not been back to the Games the last two years. I WILL change that in 2015! This year I have a great coach who is working me hard and making me do all the movements I hate. Can't believe I'm paying to be so miserable! I look forward to this year's competition and hope to be in Carson this summer so I can compete against Scott Olson, Chuck McDonald, Dennis Wilson and so many other fine athletes. My biggest disappointment from last year was missing the opportunity to go head to head with Scott, who has now reached legendary status with his third straight win. This year I hope to fulfill that goal! I've spent a lot of time power lifting the last two years and have become a USPA certified coach as well as a masters competitor in power lifting. I'm hoping that being stronger overall helps me in the Games. I'm excited to see what the Open brings and looking forward to competing for my new affiliate, CrossFit 6250'!
