Joined CrossFit Pretoria a year and a half ago to help strengthen my back after I had a discectomy in Jan 2012! I'm now addicted to CrossFit and it has made me stronger physically and mentally. i have a new lease on life and can now enjoy my kids to the fullest without having to stop and rest all the time.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat clean as possible and only cheat on weekends if it looks really tasty! I do follow a paleo diet but I don't weigh or measure yet
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I train 3 sessions a week and a 4th on a Saturday if I can which is most of the time!
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
Did a lot of sport at high school and varsity but had to stop due to back injury!
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have attended one or more specialty courses
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
my experience has been phenomenal with CrossFit ive managed to strengthen my back and stay injury free and been able to do more things day to day that i couldnt do before due to the pain. i have started an internship at my box and am looking forward to doing my level 1.
