All Individual and Team Events have been released.

No more surprises. All 2013 Regional Events have been released, for Individuals and Teams.

For Individuals, only the last day remained to be revealed. On Sunday, all men and women will face two final event, as there are no cuts this year at Regionals.

Individual Event 6
For time:
100 Double-unders
50 Handstand push-ups
40 Toes-to-bar
30 Shoulder to overhead with axle (160 / 100 lbs)
90 foot Walking lunge with axle in front rack (160 / 100 lbs)

Individual Event 7
Four rounds for time of:
15 foot Rope climb, 2 ascents
100 foot Sprint
4 Squat cleans (225 / 135 lbs)
100 foot Sprint

On Sunday morning, athletes will face a brutal chipper with double-unders, handstand push-ups, toes-to-bar, shoulder-to-overhead with an axle and walking lunge. The axle bar, first introduced at the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games, will present a new challenge to competitors. The thick, non-spinning barbell will not only be used in the shoulder-to-overhead, but athletes will also use it to hold a front rack position during the walking lunge.

In the afternoon, the final Individual event is a low volume, potent sprint comprised of rope climbs and squat cleans. This is the first time at Regional competition that we've seen rope climbs since the programming  has been standardized. The 15-foot rope will be hung from a brand new Rogue rig strong enough to support 12 athletes climbing simultaneously.

On the Team side, all Team Events are creative variations of the Individual Events. The movements are the same, but each one demands a special form of cooperation and teamwork. Jackie is a straight relay, the overhead squats require strategic planning and Event 6 forces joint suffering of a new kind.

There are seven scored events, and all teams will compete in all events. There will be no cuts (barring disqualification or failure to complete any minimum work requirements). Teams will consist of six members (three men and three women). Only the six members who check-in on site before the competition may compete at the Regional. Teams will be able to decide which members compete in each event, with the requirement that every team member must compete in five total workouts throughout the weekend (all four six-person events, plus one of the two-person events).

With just a little more than a week before the first weekend of Regionals on May 17, we're down to the wire. Keep checking in at the CrossFit Games site for the action, features and stories of the competition.
