I am enjoying every minute of CrossFit engagement for increased conditioning, fitness, strength and sense of community. The 2019 Games were my first. In 2021, I was ranked 102 worldwide, 88 in North America in my age group 60-64, scaled. I am aiming higher in 2022. Recently I decided to do something I thought was impossible, an Ironman-length triathlon (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run.). I ran the 2013 Tri-Columbia, Endurance Fest in Cambridge, MD (Now Ironman MD, not an Ironman brand race at the time, but an Ironman distance race.) I took first place in my age group. While training, I neglected conditioning, so as I approach a new decade, it's time to combine conditioning with super-endurance events and set some new goals. In my professional life, I am the founder and president of Vote Climate U.S. PAC: https://voteclimatepac.org/, where in 2018 we started the first-ever, national, climate change voters guide: https://voteclimatepac.org/voters-guide/, giving incumbents and challengers for the US House and Senate a - Climate Calculation - to take to the polls on election day to #VoteClimate.
