We are not a "world class" or "state of the art" facility... what makes a CrossFit world class? Do people even know what makes a place state of the art? Why do people just put words in place that sound good, instead of actual thought? . So with that said, we are CrossFit 941. We are a community in every sense of the word. When people drop in, they leave saying they feel like family. We have suffered our shared in the tragic loss of 3 members of our family in a matter of months. We have a little over 250 members, but the feel of a 25 member gym. The gym is 6000 total sqft, 800 sqft of that is dedicated to Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit Kids. We have 10 Concept 2 Rowers, 11 Assault Bikes, 3 Assault Air Runners, and a touch of history with competition equipment used in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA. We have a body composition lab inside our facility to not only evaluate our members progress, but to establish their program of work as well. Our lobby has a "smoothie" bar, TV, work area for kids, and is fully stocked with supplements and apparel. . Our coaching staff is diverse and decorated. Accolades ranging from USAW World and Pan American Team coaches to high level gymnasts, lifters, NCAA & SEC athletes, top 30 ranked CrossFit athlete, to exmilitary and even a coach that lost 140 lbs and one that used to fight bulls... Can't make this stuff up. We have produced USAW National Champions, World Team Members, and turned soccer moms into supermoms... but I would never call us world class or state of the art. I feel like that would imply that we had reached the pinnacle when in fact, we have just begun.
