I love Crossfit. I live Crossfit. I breathe Crossfit. I am Crossfit. My purpose is to help others change their lives through action and to honor my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in all that I do. Through Him I find strength. Isaiah 40:31


How I Eat

I weigh and measure my food

I am a firm believer in clean eating with Zone Balanced portions. I eat even blocks throughout the day. I do not lower my carb intake but I eat mostly veggies. I eat some dairy but no grains. I take 7.5grams of SFH fish oil daily along with their Post Workout recovery drink. I do not add carbs to my post workout. I also take a digestive enzyme.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I record my workouts

I work out mostly alone at my affiliate. I record as many of my workouts as possible. Brian Mackenzie programs all of my workouts. I am crushing my weaknesses.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

I have been an athlete my whole life. Mostly playing Soccer and Baseball. I enjoy most sports but stuck with those 2. I was the kicker on my high school football team. I played 2 years of baseball at Riverside Community College. Now Crossfit is my sport.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have attended one or more specialty courses

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I train other people

My brother and I, along with some friends of his, started Crossfit in my garage after watching the Movie "300". I was pretty resistent of doing it because I was 235#s with about 30% body fat and WAY out of shape. The rest is history. We run an awesome Affiliate in Upland, California and have sent athletes to the Games every year since our first in 2008. This is just the beginning.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 1x a week

I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

My workout schedule is out of my hands now. I usually don't have more than 1 full rest day a week. Typically, I have active rest days.
