I have been following a strict AutoImmune Protocol - Paleo Approach diet since Oct 2015. I adhere to the balance of the Zone Diet as well. I have followed the Zone Diet since starting CrossFit in 2007.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I write my own programming
I record my workouts
I only workout at my affiliate. I have the greatest group of male & female athletes who push me daily. I have used Beyondthewhiteboard.com to record all of my workouts since I started in 2007. My brother & I decide my programming. I typically rest on Thursdays & Sundays. We keep our eyes on CrossFit.com programming.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I have been an athlete my whole life. Mostly playing Soccer and Baseball. I enjoy most sports but stuck with those 2. I was the kicker on my high school football team. I played 2 years of baseball at Riverside Community College. Now Crossfit is my sport.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have attended one or more specialty courses
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I train other people
My brother and I, along with some friends of his, started Crossfit in my garage after watching the Movie "300". I was pretty resistant of doing it because I was 235#s with about 30% body fat and WAY out of shape. The rest is history. We run an awesome Affiliate in Upland, California and have sent athletes to the Games every year since our first in 2008. This is just the beginning.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 1x a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
My brother, Jonathan, & I do my programming.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I have competed at the CrossFit Games 4x as an Individual & 1 time on Team Kinnick.
