How I Eat
I eat whatever is convenient
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
I make sure I am getting enough protein and calories in every day, but from there it's free game! Donuts, coffee and beer are probably my three favorite food groups.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I write my own programming
I am lucky enough to have access to and work with a variety of top coaches including Drew Griffith of Coach Rx and Justin Cotler of CrossFit Dynamix. That said myself and my training partner Matt Healey generally program our day to day work based on feel, working weaknesses and just lifting heavy and moving fast!
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I regularly play recreational sports
Numerous levels of representative Rugby, Surf Lifesaving and Swimming growing up. Still Surf whenever I can, am a superhero in my spare time and am also currently training to become a Pokemon master.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I train other people
Started CrossFit a globo gym, joined an affiliate in early 2012, wasn't long before I was coaching and then opened my own gym CrossFit Play in June 2013
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
Generally only rest when my body needs it or I'm very hungover.
