CrossFit Games athlete Jeff Evans qualified for his first Games appearance in 2014 after just two years of CrossFit. The former Southern Illinois University wide receiver set himself apart at the Games that year with second- and fourth-place finishes in Clean Speed Ladder and Overhead Squat, respectively. Owner of HYTE CrossFit in Fort Myers, Florida, Evans took third in the 2015 CrossFit Liftoff weightlifting competition with a 405-lb. clean and jerk and a 305-lb. snatch.
