Complete as many reps as possible in 20 minutes of:

Then, each athlete performs as a relay:
15 burpee box jumps, 20 inches
15 squat cleans, 155 / 105 lb.

Etc., adding 3 reps to each exercise, each round

  • Only one athlete will be working at a time, and teammates must rotate through in the same order for the entire event, following the order: male 1, female 1, male 2, female 2, male 1, female 1, etc.

At the call of “3-2-1 … go!” the first athlete will perform 9 burpee box jumps, then 9 squat cleans, then tag the second athlete who may then begin working. Once the fourth athlete has completed their round of 9s, they will tag the first athlete who will then begin their second round, this time performing 12 reps of each exercise. The team’s score is the total reps completed within the 20 minutes.

    Equipment

    • 2 Barbells

    • Collars

    • Plates to load to the appropriate weight for your division

    • 20-inch box

The official weight is in pounds. For your convenience, the minimum acceptable weights in kilograms are 70 kg for men, 47 kg for women, 61 kg for masters men, 43 kg for masters women, 52 kg for scaled men and 34 kg for scaled women. The box height should be at least 51 cm.

    Video Submission Standards

Prior to starting, film the plates and barbell to be used so the loads can be seen clearly. All video submissions should be uncut and unedited in order to accurately display the performance. Shoot the video from the side so it is clear that proper depth is being reached on the squat cleans, the chest and hips are touching the ground on the burpees, and the hips and knees are fully extended on top of the box.
