Notes
Prior to starting, athletes must set up the competition area as shown in the floor plan.
This workout begins with the athlete across the line from the barbell. After the call of “3, 2, 1… go,” the athlete may move to the barbell to start their overhead squats. Overhead squats must be performed facing the box. After completing 12 snatches, the athlete will move to the box and complete 12 burpee box jump-overs. Then, the athlete will move back to the barbell. Continue in this manner for the round of 9 and 6 reps. Time stops when both feet land on the opposite side of the box after the final burpee box jump-over.
The athlete’s score will be the total time it takes to complete the workout or the total number of repetitions completed before the 10-minute time cap.
There is no tiebreak for this workout.Athletes competing in the Occupational Games MUST perform the 16-54 workout variation.

1 of 5The bar must begin on the ground. Squat racks are not permitted. A full squat snatch is permitted but not required to start the movement if standard depth is achieved. Once the bar is in the overhead position, the athlete’s hip crease must pass below the top of their knees at the bottom.2 of 5The barbell must come to full lockout overhead, with the athlete’s hips, knees and arms fully extended, and the bar directly over the middle of the body. If any part of the athlete’s body other than their hands makes contact with the bar, the rep will not count.3 of 5The burpee box jump-over starts with the athlete facing the box while touching their chest and thighs to the ground and finishes with the athlete jumping over the box. In the bottom position, the center of the athlete’s chest must be on the line, and the feet and hands must be straddling the line.4 of 5A two-foot takeoff is required (except for athletes in the 55+ divisions), and only the athlete’s feet may touch the box. After landing on the box, the athlete may jump or step off to the other side. Alternatively, the athlete may jump completely over the box. If jumping over the box, the feet must pass over the box, not around it, and the athlete must use a two-foot landing. There is no requirement to stand tall while on top of the box.5 of 5Each rep is counted when the athlete lands on the ground on the opposite side of the box. From there, they may begin their next rep. *Masters 55+ may step up.
