For the men, Bayden Brown had a two-point lead over James Newbury and Luke Fios, who were both knocking on the door and looking to take over his third-place position.

With Kara Saunders sitting comfortably at the top of the leaderboard, the battle on the women’s side was for the other two qualifying positions and the last-chance qualifier spots. Laura Clifton and Ellie Turner couldn’t slow down if they wanted to stay in the top three, and Alethea Boon, Maddie Sturt, and Justine Beath needed to kick things into gear if they wanted a second chance at making it to the Games.
