Games Central Ep. 11.15: Rogue Invitational & 2022 Season

In this edition of Games Central, Sean Woodland and Tommy Marquez recap the 2021 Rogue Invitational, highlight the careers of recently retired CrossFit athletes, and run through new changes to the 2022 season.

Topping the leaderboards at the Rogue Invitational were 2021 Games champions Tia-Clair Toomey and Justin Medeiros. Woodland and Marquez give their opinion on the competition, highlight standout performances of younger athletes, and note memorable moments from the strongman division at the competition.

Games perennials Scott Panchik, Alessandra Pichelli, Kristin Holte, and Kari Pearce announced their retirement this year. Woodland and Marquez describe how each athlete created their legacy and left their mark in the CrossFit space.

As 2022 quickly approaches, the duo reviews the new structure for the upcoming season and takes a look at athletes — such as Katrin Davidsdottir — who are changing training camps to prepare for competition.
