Chandler Smith narrowly missed qualifying for the 2020 CrossFit Games Finals. Just 2 points separated him from the final qualifying position. Those points could have come from a tiny shift in the margins on any event. For instance, Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson and Smith completed Awful Annie in separate locations but finished only 7 seconds apart, landing in 10th (worth 64 points), and 11th (worth 60 points), respectively. But Smith has zero regrets:
