"These events would not function without the katrillion volunteers that give all of their time and effort to making it work,” says Jordan Shalhoub, a CrossFit athlete who recently attended the Atlantic Regional in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“I want to know why you guys volunteer,” Shalhoub says to a group of Regional volunteers. 

One volunteer judge replies: “The biggest reason? Family.”

There’s clearly an undeniable sense of community behind the scenes at Regionals, with many of the volunteers traveling from afar just to be there, year after year.
