69-Year-Old Gordy Jamieson Continues To Unlock His Potential
“CrossFit allows you to be physically active in a way that carries you through the rest of your life,” says former half-marathon runner Gordy Jamieson.
Jamieson, now 69, needed a new competitive outlet after his doctor told him he would need a hip replacement if he kept running. He turned to CrossFit.
Years later, Jamieson’s hip arthritis has disappeared, he’s set three national Olympic weightlifting records in his weight class and age group, and he is a two-time USA National Masters champion.
Jamieson encountered a potential barrier and pivoted around it to find his untapped potential with CrossFit.
