The 2018 Central Regional took place in Nashville, Tennessee, at Music City Center. The men's competition ran deep with two-time Fittest Man on Earth, and five-time Regional victor, Mat Fraser, leading the way alongside Games veterans like Scott Panchik and Alex Anderson. The women's competition was stacked as well, with perennial Games athletes Brooke Wells, Kristi Eramo and Jennifer Smith.
