Festival Only Package

Festival Only Package is a six-day ticket bundle that allows access to all competition events, with the exception of events inside the Coliseum. Weeklong Festival Only Packages are $119 (plus a $10 facility fee) and provide access to all six days of the CrossFit Games.

The Alliant Energy Center campus also will have ample access to video boards where you can take in all the action. If you’re not in the Coliseum, the 20,000-square-foot FitAid Lounge is the place to be!

Festival + Coliseum Package 

A Festival + Coliseum Package is a six-day ticket bundle that includes access to all competition events throughout the day and a reserved seat inside the Coliseum. All events that take place in the Coliseum will require a Festival + Coliseum ticket with a reserved seat. Packages range from $225 to $550 (plus a $10 facility fee per ticket). Price is dependent on the location of your Coliseum seat.

With a Festival + Coliseum Package, you will have access to all the individual, team, masters, teenage, and adaptive competitions. With the purchase of a $550 package, your seat in the Coliseum will bring you as close as possible to the action. 

Kids Tickets

Kids 12 and under will receive free Festival Only admission but need tickets or passes if they wish to enter the Coliseum or one of the Madison Club locations. Tickets are not required for children 2 and under who do not need a seat.

Receiving Your Tickets

Tickets can be accessed through Ticketmaster Mobile Tickets. After creating an account with Ticketmaster at the time of purchase, you can log into your account at any time to retrieve a barcode containing your ticket package. Each ticket will have a scannable barcode that can be added to your smartphone’s wallet. Note: A screenshot of the barcode will not register. A short video tutorial can be found here.  

With Ticketmaster Mobile Tickets, the purchaser of Festival + Coliseum Packages or Festival Only Packages will have the ability to send ticket packages (mobile tickets) to anyone they choose through their Ticketmaster account. Each recipient of a mobile ticket will receive an email from Ticketmaster with instructions to create a Ticketmaster account of their own to retrieve their mobile ticket. 

All ticket holders (not just the ticket purchaser) must create an account with Ticketmaster to obtain their tickets. The easiest way to ensure you have access to your tickets is to download the Ticketmaster app here. Those who are unable to download the Ticketmaster Mobile Tickets app can access their tickets through their Ticketmaster account on their mobile phone browser.

Don’t have a smartphone or having issues recovering your tickets? Visit the box office directly across the street from the main entrance for assistance. 

Hotels

CrossFit has teamed up with HBC Event Services to offer discounted hotel accommodations for this event. These special arrangements and discounted rates are only available via crossfithotels.com.

CrossFit Campground: Camping at the Games

At the 2021 Games, spectators can camp alongside other CrossFit fans, just a short walk from the Coliseum.

RV parking and tent camping will be available for those attending the Games.

Camping Rx’d - Quantities Limited!

Arrive at the Campground and be ready to camp in style with a 16-ft., weatherproof canvas tent, already set up and outfitted with your choice of bed size and quantity. Camping Rx’d will have its own dedicated hospitality with games, grilling, and more!

  • Available options:
    • Two twin (single) beds ($1,500)
    • One queen bed ($1,500)
    • Four twin (single) beds ($1,800)
  • Each tent includes air conditioning, bedding, end table, lantern lighting, one 20-amp power outlet, and more
  • On-site shower and restroom facilities will be available.
  • Camping Rx’d spots are located in a premier location in the Campground.
  • Vehicle parking will be available in a nearby lot. No vehicles will be allowed in camping spaces. 
  • Rx’d campers may move into Willow Island starting Monday, July 26, at 8 a.m. and must be moved in no later than Wednesday, July 28, at 5 p.m. All campers must move out on Monday, Aug. 2, prior to 12 p.m. There are no in-and-out privileges during this time. Dates and times subject to change.

Premium RV Camping 

Festival-goers will have the option to feel at home at the CrossFit Campground in one of the 120+ RV camping spaces located on Willow Island. RV campers may opt for a 50-amp hookup for $1,200 or a 30-amp hookup for $1,000.  

  • 25 of the spaces include 50-amp hookups. The remaining spaces include 30-amp hookups.
  • There are no sewer hookups, but daily gray/black water removal service will be offered each morning beginning Tuesday, July 27 and concluding Monday, August 2. (Access doors to the gray/black water port must be unlocked each morning before leaving your campsite.)
  • Fresh water hookups are available at many of the RV spots. Fresh water will be provided for those who do not have the hookups
  • Additional shower and restroom facilities are available.
  • RV campers may move into Willow Island starting Monday, July 26, at 8 a.m., and must be moved in by Wednesday, July 28, at 5 p.m. All RV campers must move out on Monday, Aug. 2, prior to 12 p.m. There are no in-and-out privileges during this time. Additional vehicle parking will be available in a nearby lot, but additional vehicles will not be allowed on Willow Island. Dates and times subject to change.

Dry RV Camping Details

Looking for a more economical option? The dry RV camping option for $700 at the CrossFit Campground may be what you're looking for. 

  • These are spaces with no water, power, or gray water removal service.
  • RV campers may move into Willow Island starting Monday, July 26, at 8 a.m., and must be moved in by Wednesday, July 28, at 5 p.m. All RV campers must move out on Monday, Aug. 2, prior to 12 p.m. There are no in-and-out privileges during this time. Additional vehicle parking will be available in a nearby lot, but additional vehicles will not be allowed on Willow Island. Dates and times subject to change.

Tent Camping

Don’t have an RV? Camp on site on a smaller scale at the CrossFit Campgrounds.

A large number of tent spaces are available on the grass near Willow Island. A 10-by-20-ft. camping space will cost $250 for the week for spaces without power and $350 for spaces with power (limit four per customer). 

  • Tent campers may move into Willow Island starting Monday, July 26, at 8 a.m. and must be moved in no later than Wednesday, July 28, at 5 p.m. All tent campers must move out on Monday, Aug. 2, prior to 12 p.m. There are no in-and-out privileges during this time. Dates and times subject to change.
  • On-site shower and restroom facilities will be available.
  • These are 10-by-20-ft. spaces, located on grass. Limit four per customer.
  • Tent spaces will be assigned at a later date. Please contact Maggie Wortendyke at camping@crossfitgames.com with any special requests.

Day Camping for Affiliates

This year, affiliate groups and spectators can day camp just outside the main entrance to the Games.

Whether your gym is at the Games to support members who are competing or you are attending to just have a blast and celebrate fitness with the CrossFit community, take advantage of this new free offering.

A few more details:

  • Day camping is FREE to affiliates and fans of the CrossFit Games.
  • Bring your pop-up tent, chairs, picnic blankets, frisbee, and coolers (no grills).
  • Available Tuesday, July 27, through Sunday, Aug. 1
  • Located just outside the main entrance to the CrossFit Games 
  • Space will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

*Note: Items may not be left overnight, and security will not be present during the day.

Parking and Transportation

The CrossFit Games will take place at the Alliant Energy Center, located at 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison, Wisconsin, 53713.

The Alliant Energy Center is located at the gateway to downtown Madison, Wisconsin, just off the Beltline (Hwys. 12 and 18) on John Nolen Drive & Rimrock Road. The venue is just minutes from Interstate 90/94 (via Hwys. 12 and 18), the State Capitol, Madison’s State Street area and the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. It's just 15 minutes from the Dane County Regional Airport, which has non-stop flights to and from many key destinations, getting get you anywhere in the world through connecting hubs.

The Alliant Energy Center is a prime site, situated near three major metro areas—250 miles from Minneapolis, Minnesota, 145 miles from Chicago, Illinois, and 75 miles from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

DIRECTIONS

From Chicago, IL (South): Take I-90 to Exit 142A; head West on Hwy 12/18; drive 5 miles to Rimrock Road (Exit 262).

From Green Bay, WI (North): Take I-90 to Exit 142A; head West on Hwy 12/18; drive 5 miles to Rimrock Road (Exit 262).

From Milwaukee, WI (East): Take I-94 West to I-90 South; take Exit 142A; head West on Hwy 12/18; drive 5 miles to Rimrock Road (Exit 262).

From Minneapolis, MN (West): Take I-90 South to Exit 142A; head West on Hwy 12/18; drive 5 miles to Rimrock Road (Exit 262).

From Des Moines, IA (South): Take I-80 East to I-380 North; head North on Hwy 151; take Hwy 12/18E to Rimrock Road (Exit 262).

Once on Rimrock Road, follow the signage and traffic patterns to enter into one of the many entrances into the Alliant Energy Center.

In 2021, all parking at the CrossFit Games is free to spectators. Paved parking is limited, with backup grass parking located in Quann Park. It is highly recommended that spectators consider utilizing one of the various alternative modes of transportation that Madison has to offer.

There will be plenty of designated on-site bike parking! Additionally, a bike valet will be available at the Olin Park entrance. One of only five cities to reach platinum-level status as a bicycle-friendly community, Madison has nearly 75 miles of off-street bicycle paths, 120 miles of on-street bikeways, designated safety zones at intersections and parking all around town. Madison Metro bus service has regular stops along John Nolen Drive, Olin Avenue and Rimrock Road. There are currently two bus stops on Rimrock Road, two on John Nolen Drive and one on Olin Avenue, adjacent to the Alliant Energy Center. Visit www.mymetrobus.com to plan your trip.

Spectator Experience

See this article for information about activities and events offered onsite for spectators at the 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games. 

Spectator Appreciation Days

CrossFit is giving away free festival-ticket access to firefighters, health-care workers, law-enforcement members, students, teachers, and military-service personnel at the 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games.

Festival access will be free, with appropriate ID, for members of the six professional groups on designated days from Wednesday, July 28, through Friday, July 30. Each day will also feature a fan-experience workout.

COVID-19 and Other Rules and Regulations

The safety of our athletes, staff, and community has always been our highest priority for the CrossFit Games. As COVID-19 remains a significant health issue around the world, the CrossFit Games will have specific protocols in place to protect those who are working or spectating at this year’s event.

Important: All athletes, staff, and spectators must comply with current federal, state, and local health requirements, including those issued by the Public Health Department of Madison and Dane County.

Additionally, all staff, volunteers, and athletes who are not fully vaccinated will be required to undergo a COVID-19 test upon arrival at the Games, in addition to any pre-travel testing required by immigration authorities. All will also be asked to participate in daily screening for symptoms for the duration of the event. Medical professionals will be on hand to evaluate anyone with symptoms or concerns. Masks and cleaning stations will be provided to further reduce risk.

Bags and Backpacks Policy

The Alliant Energy Center permits spectators to carry bags and backpacks that are no larger than 12"W X 12"H X 16"L.

Spectators will have their bags checked prior to entering the venue.
